Join us for a reception celebrating the openings of two new exhibitions: Francis and Anthony Almendárez: Navigating the Archives Within, Vol. 2 and California Collectives: Asian American Moderns, 1924-1965.

Running through the spring, these two projects represent VPAM’s commitment to developing innovative and scholarly art exhibitions that reflect the diverse communities of East L.A., the San Gabriel Valley, and greater Los Angeles.

The evening will feature speciality cocktails and curated DJ sets celebrating Asian and Latinx diasporic music cultures.

VPAM Members are invited to a members-only reception from 5 to 6 p.m. Learn more about VPAM Membership here.

Admission is free, with reservations requested. In preparation for the reception, the Museum will be closed during the day on Nov. 21.
