Museum on haunted hill: a celebration of vincent price

Join us at the spookiest museum in East L.A.! You’re invited to a special after-hours celebration in honor of our first and greatest patron, Museum on Haunted Hill: A Celebration of Vincent Price.

Horror icon Vincent Price was not only an actor, he was an art collector, advocate, and historian. In 1957, at the height of his career, he donated 90 pieces from his art collection to East Los Angeles College (ELAC), helping to establish the Vincent Price Art Gallery.

Today, that ‘teaching collection’ has grown to over 7,000 artworks, and that classroom gallery is now the three-story, six-gallery Vincent Price Art Museum, right here at ELAC. In the intervening years, VPAM has presented hundreds of exhibitions that spotlight the work of historically underrepresented artists from our surrounding communities in East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.

So, kick off the spooky season at VPAM! During the evening, enjoy casual screenings of classic Vincent Price films, a costume party, food and drinks, music, a photobooth, and nighttime access to our current exhibitions.
