SCHOOL Tours
VPAM strives to be a central point for the visual arts among the LACCD campuses, offering class-based events and other programming. Through its school tours, the museum serves a wide spectrum of students from K-8 learners, who learn to make connections to today’s world while becoming comfortable in a museum setting, to high school and college students who engage with VPAM as a social, cultural and educational resource and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the arts and art history.
Our educational tours are carefully curated for K-12 and college-level learners. Led and facilitated by the Curator for Educational Programing, each inquiry-based tour lasts between 60 to 90 minutes and language needs are considered.
Tours are booked two weeks in advance. Requests are accepted based on museum staff availability.
